– September Luncheon– Thursday, September 19 at noon in the Parlor.  The speaker’s topic will be “Understanding the Opioid Crisis.”  The cost is $6 per person.  Click here to register on-line.

– Pig Roast– Saturday, October 12, Lake Wheeler Park!  It’s time for a PIG PICKIN!  This time it will be at Lake Wheeler, Shelter Number 9, on Saturday, Oct 12th.  Come early and rent a canoe, rowboat, kayak, paddle boat, or just sit under a shelter by the water and enjoy the view– it is beautiful.  Our time together will be from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.  We will have our usual games:  corn hole, guess the number of beans in a glass jar and win a prize and others.  Quilting Queen Bees will exhibit their quilts.  Diamond Creek Blue Grass Band will provide background music while we eat, and then provide a concert.  Karen and Greg Fountaine will provide the BBQ feast.  Cost is $15 per person.  Click here to register on-line.

The Wednesday Afternoon Bible Study Resumes Sept. 11– Larry Foster will teach a study of Romans on Wednesdays in the Parlor, from 2:45 to 4:30 pm.  There is no cost, and no need to register.  Please come join us!  The schedule is Sept. 11 through Nov. 13 and Jan. 8 through April 22.
