- The 2018 Pig Pickin’ will be at Lake Wheeler Park, Saturday Sept. 15, 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Join us at Shelter Number 9. Come early and rent a canoe, rowboat, kayak, paddle boat, or just sit under a shelter by the water and enjoy the view–it is beautiful. We will have our usual games: corn hole, guess the number of beans in a glass jar and more. The Quilting Queen Bees will exhibit their quilts. Damascus Ridge, a bluegrass four person band and male singers will provide background music while we eat and a 45-minute concert. Karen and Greg Fountaine will provide the BBQ feast. Cost is $12 per person. Click here to register on-line.
- PrimeTimers have organized a fantastic trip September 19-22 to go to the Museum of the Bible and the Sight and Sound Theater along with a few other fun stops. You’re invited to attend! This trip is now open to the entire church, and we need a few more registrations to fill up the second bus. We encourage parents with high school students, college students, millennials, and adults of all ages to consider attending (No small children please). If you are interested, contact the church office for registration forms or call Christian Tours at 800-476-3900. Click the “Sept. Trip Info” menu above for more information.
